Urban Oasis Project was featured in Bon Appétit Magazine in April 2023 for our work growing the local food movement in Miami-Dade and making fresh, local food accessible to all.
Our $5 food boxes put a week of fresh produce within everyone’s reach. Boxes are packed with seasonal fruits and vegetables from local farms and can be ordered through our Virtual Farmers Market.
Urban Oasis Project began in 2008, and our first G.I.V.E. garden was planted in April 2009 for a family in a food desert who wanted to learn to grow their own food. We’ve been growing the movement ever since. Let’s grow together!
Through our food access programs, SNAP/EBT shoppers get their purchases doubled in Florida-grown produce — up to $80 of fresh fruits and vegetables for $40. Find us at Legion Park on Saturdays and Vizcaya Village on Sundays.
Every Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM at 6601 Biscayne Blvd, our Legion Park market brings fresh, local produce to the neighborhood — with free parking in the main park lot.
Join us every Sunday from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM at 3250 S. Miami Ave. Fresh produce, hot food, and local makers — year-round, rain or shine, with free parking at Vizcaya Village.
